Exmouth Camp is situated at the mouth of the Exe estuary with beautiful views of the South Devon coastline. The camp is on National Trust land at the gateway of the Jurassic coast, England’s first natural World Heritage Site, close to the popular resort of Exmouth. The site acts as a base from where schools and other youth organisations can carry out a residential program of studies and outdoor activities in a safe, controlled environment.
Accommodation is provided under canvas and three large marquees are available for activity sessions and classroom work. Meals are served in a well equipped dining room and prepared by our own catering staff which leaves group leaders free to supervise their groups. Planning your trip is simple, once your camp dates have been allocated, choose from our wide range of activities on offer and book them directly with the providers.
The camp site is also ideal for use by organised groups such as Scouts, Guides, and youth clubs and also provides an excellent base for Duke of Edinburgh Award activities. A self-catering option is also available and group leaders should contact the camp to discuss possibilities and prices. The camp and its facilities provide an ideal centre in which schools and youth organisations can enhance the educational and social growth of their young people, through the medium of the outdoor environment.
Please note that the camp is for the benefit of school aged children, together with other formally constituted youth organisations.
